Ingredients
- 4 Cup Barnyard Millet Rice
- 1 Cup Moong dal
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 tsp Sesame seeds
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
- Little Asafetida
- Salt
- Oil
Directions
- Grind Barnyard millet and moong dal to a fine flour, sieve it and keep it ready.
- Add sesame seeds, cumin seeds, butter, asafetida, salt and mix well.
- Then add water little by little and mix well to get a soft dough.
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Making small batches of oval-shaped dough, pressing it in hot oil with a murukku press.
- Reduce flame to medium.
- Deep fry both sides till we get crispy, golden color.
- Remove it from oil.
- Barnyard Millet Easy Murukku is ready.
- Store it in an airtight container.
