Ingredients

  • One handful Dried Neem Flower
  • 1 Tomato
  • Small amla size Tamarind Extract
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Few Curry leaves
  • 2 Red Chilli
  • a pinch Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp pepper – cumin powder
  • a pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp cow ghee
  • Salt
  • Few Coriander Leaves

Directions

  1. In a pan add cow ghee and roast Neem leaves till crisp.
  2. Remove the roasted neem leaves from the pan.
  3. Then in the same pan if required add a little more cow ghee and mustard seeds.
  4. Wait for it to splutter, then add cumin seeds, red chilli, curry leaves, asafetida, mashed tomato, tamarind extract, turmeric powder, cumin -pepper powder and salt.
  5. Once it starts to boil add roasted neem leaves.
  6. Let it boil for a few seconds.
  7. Switch off the stove.
  8. Garnish with Coriander Leaves.
