Ragi Malt Recipe | Winter Special Drink is an easy vegan drink recipe made with just a few ingredients. Homemade ragi flour is the key ingredient in this recipe which is best when sprouted. Ragi malt / Ragi porridge is the best winter food to keep our body warm. It is a wonderful source of calcium and is especially beneficial to mothers, infants, diabetics, and those who are overweight. I use coconut milk in this dish to improve the immune system, but you could also use boiled cow milk. Roasted nuts and cow ghee can also be included.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Ragi Flour
  • 1 tbsp Jaggery Powder
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
  • a pinch Cardamom Powder
  • 1 Cup Water

Directions

  1. Mix ragi flour and water in a pan.
  2. Without lumps, thoroughly combine.
  3. On a low to medium flame, boil it while stirring continuously.
  4. Ragi’s colour changes after a short while, and the malt becomes slightly thick and glossy.
  5. It takes almost 5 minutes to cook ragi.
  6. After adding the powdered cardamom, turn off the stove.
  7. It will be liquid in consistency.
  8. Just combine coconut milk and powdered jaggery and mix well.
  9. Healthy and Tasty Ragi Malt is Ready to drink warm.
