Ragi Murukku Recipe | Finger Millet Chakli is a healthy and easy murukku recipe prepared with ragi and fried gram flour. We can also replace gram flour instead of fried gram flour. It’s a quick recipe prepared with just two main ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Ragi flour
- 1/4 cup fried gram flour
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp hot oil
- salt
- oil
Directions
- In a bowl add ragi flour, fried gram flour, red chilli powder, sesame seeds, hot oil and salt.
- Mix well.
- Add water little by little and make a soft dough.
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Take small dough and fill it in the murukku press and press murukku in hot oil.
- Cook the murukkus till they turn crispy and the sizzle sound reduces.
- Flip both sides and cook on medium high flame.
- Remove them and drain in a colander.
- When cooled, store them in an airtight container.
