Ingredients
- 1 Cup Curry leaves
- 2 Red Chilli
- a pinch asafetida
- 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 tsp Urad dal
- 1 tsp channa dal
- a small piece Tamarind
- Oil
- Salt
Directions
- Curry leaves should be cleaned, drained, and kept ready.
- Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, urad dal and channa dal, wait till dal turns golden.
- Stir in the tamarind, red chilli, and asafetida.
- Switch off the flame and add curry leaves, sauté in the heat of the kadai.
- Let them cool.
- Add it to the blender with salt and grind it.
- Fresh Green Karuveppilai Thogayal is Ready.
- Serve it with mixed with rice or with idli, dosa etc.
