Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Cauliflower Florets
  • 1/2 Cup Green Peas
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 tsp Sambar Powder
  • a pinch Turmeric Powder
  • Few Curry leaves
  • 1 Small stick Cinnamon
  • 1 Clove
  • 1/4 tsp Fennel Seeds
  • Salt
  • Oil

Directions

  1. Separate florets and clean cauliflower.
  2. Boil some water with little salt and turmeric powder.
  3. Switch off the stove, add florets in boiled water, cover it with a lid and leave for less than 5 mins.
  4. The water should then be drained and set aside.
  5. Heat oil in a kadai, add cinnamon, clove, fennel seeds and wait for them to sizzle.
  6. Add chopped onion, curry leaves and saute for a while.
  7. Then add green peas, cauliflower and saute for a while.
  8. Add the chopped tomato and stir for a few minutes. Then, add the salt, turmeric, and sambar powder, and continue to stir until everything is thoroughly combined.
  9. Switch off the flames, Tasty cauliflower peas masala is ready.
  10. Serve with rice or roti.
