Coriander Tomato Chutney | Malli Thakkali Chutney is a healthy and tasty Recipe which goes well with idli and dosa. It’s a simple preparation made with coriander leaves, which are high in iron and beneficial for both mothers and children.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cup Coriander
  • 2 Tomato
  • 2 Shallot / Small Onion
  • 1 small piece Ginger
  • 1 piece Garlic
  • 2 Red Chilli
  • a pinch turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Urad dal
  • Few Curry leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Take clean washed and drained coriander leaves.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add onion, red chilli, tomato, garlic, ginger and saute for a while till tomatoes get soft, then add coriander leaves and saute for a few minutes.
  3. Add turmeric powder and Salt.
  4. Switch off the stove.
  5. Let them cool, then grind it well.
  6. Heat oil in a kadai, temper it with mustard seeds and urad dal, then add curry leaves.
  7. Add it with Ground Coriander Tomato chutney.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Healthy and Tasty Coriander Tomato Chutney is Ready.
  10. Serve it with Idli, dosa.
