Ingredients
- 1 cup Horsegram / Kollu
- 2 tbsp Rice
- 1/4 tsp mustard
- 1 tbsp oil
- 10 Shallot / Small onions
- 1 Green chilli
- 2 tbsp Grated Coconut
- Few Coriander leaves
- Few Curry leaves
- Salt
Directions
- Dry roast Horse gram in a heavy bottom kadai till we get a nice aroma and it gets roasted well.
- Then transfer it to a plate and dry roast rice.
- Let them cool.
- Grind both horsegram and rice together Coarsely.
- Then in a pot add horsegram rava with two to three cups of water and boil it.
- Once cooked well add salt and mash it if required.
- In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, chopped onions, green chilli, curry leaves and saute for a while.
- Once it gets transculate switch off the stove and add it to cooked Horsegram porridge and mix well.
- Atlast add grated coconut.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and Serve warm.
