Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice flour
- 2 tbsp Grated Coconut
- 2 tbsp Moong dal
- 1 cup Thick Coconut Milk
- 1 Cup diluted Coconut milk
- 3/4 cup Jaggery powder
- 1/4 cup Cardamom Powder
- Little Salt
Directions
- Wash and cook moong dal well, mash it and keep ready aside.
- In a bowl add Rice flour, salt and grated coconut.
- Mix well, add water little by little to make a dough.
- Once the dough is ready, make a small oval shaped kolukattai.
- Boil diluted coconut milk and when it is boiling drop oval shaped small Kozhukattai in it, don’t stir immediately.
- After one or two minutes just put a flat ladle and saute the vessel from the bottom without disturbing the Kozhukattai.
- Let it boil for 2 to 5 minutes.
- Then add Jaggery powder, cooked moong dal and cardamom powder.
- Switch off the stove.
- Add Thick coconut milk.
- Mix Well.
