Ingredients Foxtail Millet Honey Laddu

  • 1 Cup Thinai / Foxtail Millet  
  • 1/4 Cup Jaggery
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • a pinch Cardamom Powder (optional)

How to prepare Foxtail Millet Honey Laddu

  • Wash foxtail millet 2 to 3 times and drain water till it gets clear.
  • Soak foxtail millet in water for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Then drain the excess water and spread it in a kitchen towel to dry it.
  • Once dried add it to the blender / mixie and fine powder it
  • Then add jaggery and just pulse it.
  • Transfer it to a bowl.
  • Add Cardamom powder and honey to it.
  • Mix Well.
  • Thenum Thinai Maavum is Ready to offer as prasadam.
  • Or shape it to balls before serving.
