Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Cashew
  • 3/4 – 1 Cup Jaggery
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • Ghee to grease

Directions

  1. Heat cashews in a heavy-bottomed kadai (Dont roast).
  2. Transfer to plates, Let them cool.
  3. Fine Powder it in mixie.
  4. In the kadai add jaggery and water, heat it for approx 5 mins to get one string consistency.
  5. Add the cashew powder and well combine to avoid lumps.
  6. Keep stirring well.
  7. The mixture will begin to thicken after a few minutes; continue stirring until the mixture starts to leave the sides of the kadai.
  8. Take a small amount of the mixture, pour it on a plate, and roll it into a small ball to determine the proper consistency.
  9. Now take it off of the flames, pour it into the tray that has been greased with ghee, spread it out evenly, and let it set.
  10. Cut it into diamond shapes and enjoy.
