Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Curd
  • 1 Small piece Ginger
  • a pinch asafoetida
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • Few Curry leaves
  • Few Coriander leaves
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Ginger, green chilli, and cumin seeds should be finely ground in a manual mortar and pestle.
  2. Add the coriander and curry leaves finally, then coarsely crush the mixture.
  3. Take curd in a bowl, add approximately 1 1/2 cups of water, and whisk well with a traditional wooden mathu.
  4. Add crushed ingredients, asafetida, salt and mix well.
  5. Neer Mor is ready.
