Ingredients
- 1 Cup urad dal
- 1 Cup Jaggery
- 2 tbsp Grated Coconut
- 1/4 tsp dry ginger powder
- 1 Cardamom
Directions
- Wash and soak the urad dal for an hour.
- Then blend the urad dal into a fine, smooth batter.
- Add three cups of water to it and mix well.
- In a heavy bottom pan add this urad dal mixture and bring to boil.
- Once it begins to boil, reduce the flame.
- Continue to cook for a few minutes till it gets cooked well.
- Add jaggery, dry ginger powder, and cardamom powder.
- Turn the stove off.
- Add little grated coconut.
- Healthy and Tasty Urad dal porridge is ready.
- Serve hot.
