Ingredients
- 1/4 Cup Kavuni Rice Rava (broken)
- 1 Cup Thick Coconut Milk
- 1 Cup Diluted Coconut Milk
- 1 Cup Jaggery Powder
- a pinch cardamom powder
- 10 Cashew
- 1 tbsp Ghee
Directions
- Take some broken Kavuni rice, wash it once if necessary, add some water, and let it soak for 30 minutes.
- Extract coconut milk in the meanwhile and keep it ready.
- Take 1 cup thick coconut milk and 1 Cup diluted coconut milk.
- Heat the ghee in a heavy-bottomed pot, roast the cashews, and then remove it from the heat.
- Add broken kavuni rice, 3/4 cup water to the same pot and boil it.
- Once it begins to boil, turn down the heat and continue cooking for 15 to 25 minutes, or until it turns tender.
- Add the diluted coconut milk, cardamom powder, and jaggery powder after that.
- Once it begins to boil again, turn off the heat and stir in the thick coconut milk and the roasted cashews.
- Tasty Kavuni Rice Payasam is Ready.
